Ghayal Joseph, Managing Director & CIO, Prologis Europe

Ghayal has overall responsibility for all capital deployment spanning land, development, acquisitions, dispositions and Fund contributions. Mr. Ghazal is a member of the European management executive committee and has more than 10 years of experience in logistic real estate development with Prologis.

Thomas Karmann, Head of Logistics, AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets 

Thomas joined AXA IM – Real Assets in 2018 from Prologis, where he was Managing Director and Region Head for Northern Europe. Previous roles include Senior Vice President of European Operations for Gazeley Properties Ltd, Deputy Managing Director for Germany and Central Europe at GSE and Commercial Director for Industrial & Logistics at Bouygues. Thomas has over 25 years’ experience in the logistics investment and development sector.

Alexander Hoff, Founder and Managing Partner, Palmira Capital Partners

Before setting up Palmira, he was CEO Germany for GPT Halverton and built the business from scratch to EUR 1bn under management. Before that he served as Head of Investment with CB Richard Ellis and was a member of their International Investment Group. During his career Alexander has been responsible for transactions with more than EUR 2bn.

Marcus de Minckwitz, Director, Regional Investment Advisory EMEA, Savills

Marcus leads our Regional Investment Advisory EMEA Logistics team in London, which forms part of our Omnichannel Retail Group that merges our retail and logistics expertise. Marcus spent 10 years working in Savills UK Investment team specialising in retail warehousing. The growth of e-commerce really took hold of the UK retail and logistics markets during that time and his experience provides him with an understanding of the fundamental dynamics of this structural growth, which is leading to unprecedented levels of demand for European logistics.


Nick Preston, Director of Fund Development, Tritax

Nick has overall responsibility for the provision of investment management and advisory services to the Company. Nick began his career with Hillier Parker (later CBRE) in the early 1990s. He qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1993, completing a Diploma in Property Valuation and Law at City University (now Cass Business School). From then Nick worked within the fund management team which evolved into CBRE Global Investors. His roles included all aspects of investment management across a wide variety of portfolios and funds. Amongst other achievements he established the CBREGI Global Investment Partners business and launched a number of UK funds for institutional investors. He advised a major US pension fund investor on their European logistics partnership with First Industrial Realty Trust. In 2012 Nick took a position at Grosvenor Fund Management. This role evolved into the post of Managing Director and Head of Portfolio for the GFM European business.
