Etienne Cadestin, Founder & Global CEO, Longevity Partners

Etienne founded Longevity Partners in 2015.  Prior to that, Etienne worked at Knight Frank, JLL and the United Nations Environment Programme (the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agendas). Etienne has more than a decade of experience in sustainable property investment and strategy. He currently advises the largest property investment companies in Europe. This year, Etienne won the EG Awards in the category ‘Future of Real Estate’. Before that, Etienne was picked to be an Estate Gazette’s ‘Property Rising Star’ and nominated for numerous awards as one of the most active young leaders in the sustainability and real estate industries. He regularly speaks at high-level events, giving his vision for smart cities, carbon neutral buildings, wellbeing in the work place and the future of the real estate industry.

Markus Beran, Head of Origination International Investors, Berlin Hyp

Markus Beran is Head of Origination International Investors at Berlin Hyp since 2012. He is responsible for the team originating new business for the bank with international addresses in Germany and in selected markets abroad. Markus Beran is a real estate expert with extensive international experience and a substantial track record in commercial real estate finance. He lead various sales and loan origination team at banks in Germany and abroad (Poland, Spain, India and Singapore). Beran also worked as Director and Head of Financing Europe at an international investment management company in London.

Maximilian Kufer, Sustainability Manager – Real Assets, AXA Investment Managers

Max is currently Sustainability Manager at AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets. He is responsible for the integration and oversight of AXA IM – Real Assets’ responsible investment strategy by supporting fund and asset management teams in meeting sustainability objectives for all real assets. Max holds a Master’s degree in International Financial Analysis from INSEEC, a French business school, and a Bachelor’s from the American University of Paris specializing in finance and environmental science.
